Crew is 3

Birthdays are so much funner when you are little.  I think I was more excited for Crew's Birthday than he was.  I just can't believe how fast the past 3 years have gone by.  Crew is so funny, tender hearted, such a protective big brother to Kade.  He loves Costco pizza, horses, tractors, playing in the dirt, loves his family and cousins.  I feel so lucky to call him mine.

Jason was working and so the boys and I left our house and went and fed the ducks by our house first.

They both love throwing bread to them.  It was all fun until the ducks came out of the lake and came chasing after us, that's not so fun!

I was then planning on taking them to the Children's Museum, then to the Splash pad right next door. We got to the Museum and it is closed on Monday, so we went straight to the Splash Pad.  My boys both love it there.  We've been making this a habit to go once a week.

Then we went and rode the Carousel...

Yes Crew has a black eye... it's so sad.  That's a whole other story of it's own.

Then we met Dad at Judd's for some lunch.  We then went home so Kade could have his much needed nap.  We splurged for dinner and took him to Costco to get pizza and a smoothie.  It was the simplest day, yet such a fun day.  He was so happy.  We stopped at a friend's house on the way home from Costco and surprised him with his Birthday Cake.  He is obsessed with the Disney movie "Planes" so he was so excited when he saw his cake.

Then we invited his cousins over, and my friend Amber and her little girl Kambria, came over for cake and ice cream. 

Such a fun day.  He was so happy all day long.  He loves holding up 3 fingers now whenever anyone asks him how old he is.

Kade's 18 Months Pictures

We took Kade out last night for his 18 Month photo shoot.  He's really 19 months, but better late than never.  

This boy is a complete ham.  He is so busy.  I get tired just watching him, it doesn't help that I'm 6 months pregnant trying to chase 2 little busy boys.

Kade loves to dance, laugh, read books, play with Crew.  He loves yogurt, chicken nuggets, and all fruits.  He has the best laugh, and his smile is so contagious.  It's so fun watching his personality come out more every day.  Crew and Kade have recently started wrestling a lot, and I was at first feeling bad for Kade since he's smaller.  However, the more I watch, he instigates it every time.  

He is such a handsome devil, but I love him to pieces.

3 BOYS

We are expecting our third baby in May of 2015.  We are so excited to add another baby to our family.  A little scared, I've heard how the third one always throws everything off.  You're outnumbered.  Well ready or not we will go to a party of 5 in May!! 

I went to my OB for just my annual exam, and I knew I was ovulating, and we were trying.  I told Dr Kvarfordt I would see him in ten weeks and we both just laughed.  Sure enough I was back ten weeks later for my first baby appointment.  

Jason is still sad I took the pregnancy test without him.  He was there on the other two boys and I wanted to surprise him.  I waited for him to go to work, then took the test.  I wasn't too surprised.  It doesn't take us long.  So when Jason came home for work I had this out on the kitchen counter.

I ordered this shirt online for Kade to wear.  He wore this to go tell Grandma and Grandpa in town and Jason's sisters.  I sent this picture via text to my siblings.  He's just a baby himself.  Crew and Kade are 15 months apart, and Kade and the next baby will be 22 months apart.

Well long story short Jason ended up working Children's Place for Black Friday.  The managers there love him.  It's a sign we shop way too much.  The pay is lousy, but having the employee discount is why we decided for him to work!  I would be 14 weeks along, and if by chance we were having a girl we would need that discount to buy half the store.  So we went to Las Vegas to a place called "Miracle in Progress" to just do a gender reveal.  We found out we were having another BOY!!! I felt sad for a few minutes but it didn't last long.  I love my boys and can't wait to see what this one will look like.  I always said if this one was a boy I would probably try one more time for a girl... but now I just don't know.  Part of me feels like I am getting to old to keep having babies.  I will be 33 when I deliver this one, but 10 days later I turn 34.  This pregnancy has been really hard.  I have been more nauseous.  I take zofran and every night I take diclegis just so I can sleep.  My body aches and I have no energy.  Having 3 kids in 3 years takes a toll on you.  I've been told by lots of my clients who have experienced having babies in their 20's and 30's saying it's significantly harder in your 30's.  Depressing.  So I am trying to enjoy this pregnancy more just in case it is our last one. 

I haven't taken any pictures of me really during this pregnancy.  You just don't feel pretty when your pregnant, well at least I don't.  I feel frumpy and hate how I get a double chin right when I get pregnant.  This was taken on my 20th week! I am half way done.

As of right now we are loving the name Colton, and will just call him "Cole" for short.  

Christmas 2014

I love the Christmas season and it just gets better with kids.  Crew and Kade still don't understand Santa but I think this was our last year with that.

We had Christmas music playing on Pandora through the whole month of December.  We built a gingerbread house.  We went on a car ride a few times a week just driving around looking at Christmas lights.  Crew loved looking at the lights.  It was more magical watching his excitement.

We decorated our tree, which was really painful.  The boys were constantly in the tree.  Bulbs on the floor, toys in the tree.

We put all our presents out on Christmas Eve and took a picture, I hate how blurry this picture is.

It didn't take Crew long to figure out how to open presents.  It was so fun watching him.  Kade liked the boxes more than the actual presents.

My parents gave this airplane to Kade, but Crew thinks it's his.  He would not put this toy down for days.  He literally sleeps with it.  My mom said that was so last minute gift too and almost didn't get it for him.  I'm glad she did, he loves it.

I invited my parents to come stay with us on Christmas Eve so they could watch my boys open their presents.  So they came down on Christmas Eve and I made a roast and sweet potatoes for dinner.  We kept telling Crew "Santa is coming tonight" and he would seem excited but didn't really understand.  

Christmas morning Crew woke up around 8am and so Jason was in his room talking to him.  Jason said "Santa came" and Crew just kept responding "I'm so tired Daddy" 

We opened all our presents and then around 11am we went to my in laws where we opened lots more presents and had a yummy meal.

We are hoping to take the boys to Disneyland the end of January for the rest of their Christmas present.

2014 Highlights

At our house next to our fridge we have a glass mason jar filled with notes that we have filled throughout the year.  

So January 31st we open the jar and read all the amazing things that happened to you in 2014!

Thought I would share our highlights.

• Kade beating RSV so quickly AND without being hospitalized!! Jan 15. (Jason)
• Kade's leaky eye cleared up at about the 6 month mark and no surgery was necessary!!! Yeah!!!
• Enjoying some of the best pastries in the US in Slovang California and staying in a resort with the Crofts.  Enjoying 80 degree weather in January.  Seeing mini ponies, mini donkeys, and playing at the park. (Jason)
• Long Beach International Hair Show.  Learning lots.  Especially Brazilian Blowouts.  First night for both of us to away from both kids.  Ate dinner on the penthouse level at candle light over looking the city, and we just laughed and laughed and had a blast!
• I did my first amazing melt on a client.  It made me so happy. Feb.  (Andy)
• I did my first Brazilian Blowout on Heather! I loved it!! Hope it makes me lots of money!! 
• Winning a $500 shopping spree at Maley's Nation Wide!!!
• Had such a fun relaxing lunch and massage valentine date with my sexy husband.
• We went to the Superbowl party at Michael and Becky's house.  Great food and great company, sad game.
• Went to Time Out For Women in Richfield.  I learned that I am the perfect Mom for MY kids.  Heavenly Father knows what he is doing.  March 14-15. (Andy)
• Played with Crew for the first time at the beach in Hawaii.  Enjoyed the WorldMark resort in Maui.  We had a blast! March  (Jason)
• Watching Crew play in the ocean in Hawaii was priceless.  March.  (Andy)
• Went to Holland for the weekend! I loved the tulips gardens!! April (Andy)
• Saw the tulips in Amsterdam.  Left on our anniversary!
• We went to the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam.  Sad story, but neat experience. (Jason)
• To have a "Negative" pregnancy test when Kade was only 10 months old. May.  (Andy)
• Traveled 1st class to Amsterdam.  Pods, lie-flat, lots of food, 5 movies. April 24 - 27. (Jason)
• To hear Crew sing "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" was priceless.  May.  (Andy)
• I am loving the Brazilian Blowout product at the salon! May.  (Andy)
• I won a Bio-Ionic blow dryer on a drawing on Face Book!! Who wins drawings on Face Book, We Do!!! June
• Going to Dionna's baptism and confirmation.  The spirit was so strong. June.  (Andy)
• Our trip to Ghana Africa was amazing! First class flights and the nicest people, and sleeping with Andy in a twin bed! July 15.  (Jason)
• We moved into our first house!!!! August. (Andy)
• Every time we pull into a gas station without fail Crew always says, "The Car is hungry?"
• Katy Perry concert in Vegas was amazing!!
• Time out for Women with Carolyn and Amber, and Hilary Weeks performed! November 

Mom, Crew & Kade Pictures...

I went up to Aurora for a Deaton family Christmas party and my cousin Lana was doing family pictures for those who wanted them.  Jason couldn't come with us, so I decided to take some pictures of just me and my two handsome little boys.  These boys make me so happy.  I feel very blessed to be their Mom.  I think I was 12 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 when these were taken.
