38 weeks and counting...

I definitely took a lot more pictures of me pregnant when I was pregnant with Crew, but thought I would document the belly one last time...
This is my belly at 38 weeks.  My sister in law Brittany and I went and got pedicures next to my salon, and I had them rub my pressure points really good trying to induce labor, but no luck...

The next day I took a few pics on my phone, just ignore the messy mirror, I probably should have cleaned that before I took the pictures.

I am so excited to meet this little man.  We have settled on a name- Kaden Alan.
I love being a Mom and can't wait to have another little boy.
I can't wait to get my body back, I feel like I have been pregnant for two years.  This pregnancy was so easy until the end.  He hurts me so much more than Crew did.  Sciatic, heartburn, and insomnia are my main complaints.
I seriously have the best husband in the whole wide world.  He does so much for us.  He has been picking up the slack, really to a fault.  I wish he would just come home from work and just relax, but he doesn't.  He cleans, or cooks, or just takes Crew so I can rest.  I am very grateful for all that he does for our family!
I feel like my body is progressing very slow with this baby.  I had Crew at 38 weeks.  However it was the worst delivery possible.  I had two epidurals that didn't work, I was given morphine and lidocaine every hour for 5 hours, pelvis bones never spreading, having a C-section, but as they cut me open I could feel it, so I was put under general anesthesia and was gone fore the next 6 hours.  Because I went under general anesthesia, even Jason couldn't be in the room, he was in a room next door where they handed Crew off to the nurses as he came out.  So this time around I am just terrified.  I am so scared of the unknown.  My mind is constantly on how this baby will be delivered, and Jason tells me all the time I am stressing too much.  This entire pregnancy I had no intentions of even trying to deliver vaginally.  About the last month or so I have just been so curious and wonder if I really can have a baby, this is my only shot.  If I deliver this one C Section the rest of our kids will have to be C Sections.  I started seeing Dr K every week at 36 weeks.  When he checked me at 36 weeks I was not dilating and 50% thinned out.  37 weeks I was still not dilated and 80% thinned out.  38 weeks I was dilated to a 2.5 and 80% thinned out.  39 weeks I was still a 2.5 and 85% thinned out.  We had booked my C-Section originally for Friday June 28th.  When I met with my Dr yesterday we decided to give my body one more week to see if I will go into labor.  I have been having contractions and lots of pressure, but nothing consistent.  I rescheduled my C Section for Wednesday, July 3rd. Which is my actual due date.  If my body goes into labor before, then we give it a shot to try and have it, otherwise he is getting evicted.  So I am really anxious to see how this story ends.  In the end, a healthy baby is all that matters.  A week from now it will all be a memory, one way or the other.

Memorial Day Weekend

My family has a cabin up Salina Canyon, up at Accord Lake.  My family planned a trip for everyone to come up Memorial Day Weekend.  It's so peaceful and quiet up there I wish we could get away more often, but it's a good 3 hour drive from our house.  This was a fun weekend because all of my siblings were able to come! It had been a year and a half since we have all been together.  Here are some candid shots from the weekend.

 Carson and their dog Duke

Jason, Grandpa Kelly, and Boston loading up the wagon

They were cutting down trees to have fire wood on hand, this is such a project and those boys are some hard working boys.

My Mom brought her cat Lucy, so having a dog & a cat up there was entertaining

Jason and my Dad pulling down trees while Michael was chain sawing them down.

Crew just woke up from his nap and wanted to play in the wagon too

Crew & Boston

It's so peaceful up there.  The view from our cabin.  I love it.

Jason climbing up a ladder to come give Crew a kiss while he was still working.

Dylan and Crew

Crew just looks silly.

And of course he has to drink whatever Dad is drinking...

Crew was obsessed with this tractor.  Sadly it broke down the first day while they were plowing out the driveway.

They had a surprise Birthday party for me, Kamryn and Brooklyn.  My sister made this chocolate cake with chocolate chip cookie dough frosting.  It was divine.  My Mom made a white cake, with cool whip and cream cheese frosting, and fresh strawberries on top.  It was so yummy, and the motto up at the cabin is "Everything is calorie free" so we can eat as much as we want!

The next few pictures are some that I have edited a little bit.  I am still learning how to use my camera and edit them.

Carolyn and Brooklyn swinging on the deck.

JJ and David trying to be all serious!

Topher & Whitney, Kinley was inside sleeping.

Michael and Becky

Carolyn and Dylan, Dan had to stay home to work.

My Whole Family... we are dirty, but hey we are in the mountains.

All my siblings.

My cute family.  I am 34 weeks pregnant and about to pop!

Monday morning on our way back to St George we stopped at the Richfield Care Center to see Grandma Carol.  She won't remember we even saw her, but I am always happy when we stop to see her because I keep feeling like it will be our last visit with her.  Crew wasn't very happy on her lap but at least we got a pic of them together.

Then we stopped at Grandpa Don's grave site.  The cemetery was decorated so pretty for Memorial Day.  I miss this man so much.

When I think of someone who showed unconditional love, I think of my Grandpa Don.  He was such a role model for me.  I believe he is up in Heaven now just hanging out with our sweet baby boy who will be joining us one of these weeks.  So grateful families can be together forever.

Then of course, we had to hit up the Ideal Dairy for our Ideal Dairy slush and our fresh strawberry shake, then came back home to St George.  It was a fun weekend and hopefully my whole family can get together again sooner than a year and a half!
