Crofts Christmas

This year we celebrated Christmas with my family up in Price Utah.  It had been over 27 months since my whole family had been together so I was really looking forward to it!!  I just love my family to pieces and wish we lived closer!  Maybe one day...  We were all spoiled for sure, but I am not complaining!  These are some pictures from Christmas with my family!

Jason spoiled me with an iPad2 that I had been wanting since June!! It's such a fun toy!

Topher spoiled Whitney and bought her a Tiffany's diamond ring!! It is just a band so she can wear it to work and not get in the way.

Dan spoiled Carolyn and bought her a baller blow-dryer!! When I say Dan bought this, really I did haha!

My Dad got this picture from my Uncle, this is a picture of the diesel my Dad learned to drive truck in.  He loved it!!

My Dad got some Tonka Toys... all the grand kids loved it!!

Dylan was more excited to sit in the box than anything!

Grandma gave Kamryn some Princess Dress-up clothes.  This girl is 100% girl and she was on cloud 9 playing dress up too!

Another shot of her playing princess dress-up.... too cute!

Boston got a new suit from Grandma and he tried on his suit coat and he looks like such a ladies man wearing a suit coat and jeans!!

Seriously, look how cute... and he is such a cheese ball!!

My Mom & Dad gave all the kids their own little doTerra oil starter kit.  I am pretty excited about all the oils and how to use them!

Grandma and Grandpa with all their grand kids.  Carson, Kamryn, Boston and Dylan.  Two more are on their way too!!

My oldest Brother David.... he needs a woman so if you know anyone haha!

My sister Carolyn, her husband Dan and their little boy Dylan.  She is expecting baby number two the end of May!

Jason and I... man we are a good looking couple!  They told me to hold my prego belly but it looks retarded I do apologize!

My brother Michael, his wife Becky, and their three cute kids!! Carson, Kamryn, and Boston.

My brother Topher and his wife Whitney.  Toph wanted his butt pockets to be in the picture too!! He is such a poser!!

My youngest brother Jonathan.  He just got home from his mission in Brazil, and yes he is single too.  So we need another set-up here too!!

My whole happy family together finally!!  Hopefully it won't be another 27 months before we do this again!  Love you guys!!

After we were all done opening presents my parents made an announcement.  My Dad worked for Barney Trucking for 27 years and last year he quit because he got a better offer with Savage Trucking.  They moved from St George to Price.  Recently, the owner of Barney Trucking came back to my Dad and offered him more money to come back to Barney's.  So now my parents are moving to the Salina area and my Dad will be working in the corporate office there.  I am pretty excited for him, he seems really happy.  It makes me happy because I would much rather drive 2 hours instead of 4!!

Trask Christmas

The entire Trask Family got together for a little Christmas party on Friday December 23rd.  There is never a dull moment at the Trask home!  With 11 grand kids, and 2 on the way it's only going to get louder!!  It's so fun though.  My In-Laws rock!! Here are just a few pics we took from the party!!

Mallory giving all the little kids a bag to put all their goodies in... they were so cute & excited!!

She even embroidered their names on them!!

Syd & Beckham

Lukas was so sleepy and so somber, had to take a picture!

We draw names for Christmas and this year we had Brittany & Jeff.  This is what we gave Bailee... Princess Dress Up clothes!! It was a hit this year for sure!  Bailee and Syd both jumped right in the costumes!

So excited to play "Dress-up"

Love this picture!!

They are little princesses!  It was so fun to see them so happy!

Linda had made some homemade soup, which we all love.  Anytime Linda cooks you know it will be good food! So food, family, laughs and presents what else do you need?!  On a side note Alan and Linda spoiled us and gave us our very own wheat grinder!!  I love Christmas time.  Jason and I left right after opening presents so we could drive to the metropolis of Price Utah so we could spend Christmas with my family.

My husband bakes...

I came home from work a few weeks ago and our house smelled amazing... the smell of homemade bread cooking in the oven!  My husband had made homemade wheat bread.  My Mother-In-Law Linda, makes it every week and Jason kept saying he wanted to learn.  Well he took it upon himself!!  I have tried making bread several times and it was never a success for me so I am so happy he can do it!!
The next week, Jason's department at work was having a little Christmas luncheon party and he was in charge of bread bowls.  He was super brave and tried making them from scratch... I had to grab the camera so you could capture the moment too!!

This is Jason even grinding his own wheat!!

He just looks so serious here... I love it!

Now just waiting for them to rise...

Well the end results didn't turn out like we were hoping and so no photography was allowed!!  However my husband totally rocks because he makes homemade bread!! He is seriously the best guy ever!! Love him so much!!

Favorite Time of Year

One of my favorite things about Christmas time is going to Michael McLean's Forgotten Carols.  Last Friday my Sister and her hubby came up from Las Vegas to go to dinner and the Forgotten Carols with Jason and I.  I go almost every year, but it never gets old.  The spirit there is so strong and so amazing.  My favorite song this year was "Let Him In"  It's a song about letting Christ into our daily lives.  I couldn't help but think of the picture of Jesus standing at the door and knocking.  All we have to do is open the door to let him in.

And whether it be
In your world today,
Or a crowded Bethlehem Inn,
Find a way,
Make Him Room,
Let Him In

This is one of my New Year's resolutions to try and do better about finding a way to let Him in.

The next morning Jason and I woke up and took a short 40 minute plane ride to Salt Lake City to hang out with my family for the day, do some Christmas shopping and see the lights at Temple Square.  This was our first time seeing Michael since he got home from Iraq.  We met Michael and Becky and their kids, Topher and Whitney, and JJ for lunch at the Village Baker.  Then we braved the South Towne Mall... it was out of control!! We went to Forever 21 because I love their maternity section, where I scored and got me a pair of fat pants on sale!!  We then went to Babies R Us looking for baby bedding.... not successful.  Earlier in the day we spotted a DI on our way to lunch, (Jason loves to DI shop, he is such a bargain shopper and he is starting to wear off on me haha!) so we decided to go back to the DI just to check out the little boy clothes since we were up in SLC... so we went and we totally scored!! We got $50 worth of baby boy clothing.  We got Kenneth Cole, Baby Gap, Hurley, Nike and more!!  We just need to wash them a few times and we are good to go!!  I am getting so excited to set up the little peanut's nursery.
After we shopped we drove to Saratoga to Michael and Becky's new home and I gave Michael, Topher, and JJ a haircut and we just visited with the family!  Before we knew it it was time for Jason and I to leave for the airport.  The day went by so fast!!  Jason felt so bad that I didn't get to see the lights, which really wasn't a big deal.  There is always next year!  On the way to the airport he did a quick drive by!! The picture I took didn't turn out so I stole one!! The lights at Temple Square are just gorgeous.  It was such a fun fast trip though.  I am really looking forward to Christmas where I can spend more time with the family!

Welcome Home...

In June two of my brother left for Iraq.  Michael and Christopher.  This was Michael's second tour as a Medic, and this was Topher's first tour working in Supply.  Their orders from the National Guard was very vague, and we were all planning on a year deployment.  The last month or so we had been hearing rumors that they possibly could be home by Christmas...  Well the rumors came true and last Thursday December 8th both my brothers flew home!! This is the best Christmas present ever for us and for their families!

The plane just landing!! Everyone was so excited!!

Everyone outside waiting patiently to see their solider!!

 Toph & Whitney's first hug

Whitney's Parents and sister came up to see Topher.  (Her Dad really was there he was taking this picture too)

 Whitney, Tophy, Me, and Jason

It just made me giggle how they put all their bags in a dump truck and dumped them right in front of the airport.

We had to split up because Topher flew into Cedar City, and a few hours later Michael flew into the SLC Airport.  Jason and I represented my family and then my Parents, David, and JJ all were in SLC.  I still have not seen Michael so I had to steal these pictures from Becky!  It would have been so priceless to see the faces of Carson, Kamryn, and Boston to see their Dad again after six long months!! Becky is one tough woman that is for sure!!

Michael and Becky's cute kids... Kamryn, Carson and Boston (I just love the smile on Boston)

 Becky & the kids

My parents being all patriotic... having all 4 sons serve in the Military will do this to you!

I heard the kids were fighting over who would get the first hug from their Dad.... Boston won!! Too cute!!

This was pretty neat... Becky's Ward lined her street and her house with the American Flag...

The flags up into their driveway...

Then Becky had this cute sign!!

I just love when you see any solider reunite with their family!!  I am so grateful for my brothers and their sacrifice!  Love you both so much!!
