August Mobile Uploads...

I love to instagram, but the whole reason I blog is so I have a personal journal online.  So as I was going through my phone these are some pics that I love, so I wanted to share...

Crew's 15 months stats

15 months and already a Big Brother

Crew's 15 month stat's

Weight 25.53 lbs 64%
Length 33.07 in 94%
Head 19.4 in 94%

My boy is such a big boy! We were both so excited when we saw his 94% in his length, I just really don't want him to have his Momma's short genes.

He just keeps getting funner and funner.  I love how independent he is getting.  It's good and bad I guess.  He can be so stubborn, so we have our hard days, but he is so fun.  He is trying so hard to talk.  He has recently started repeating words.

He is beyond obsessed with golf carts.  He will wake up from his nap and the first words will almost always be "golf cart" so Jason will take him out to see the chickens.  So spoiled!

Food is still the way to his heart.  He really isn't too picky.  He loves pizza, french fries, and frozen go-gurt's.

His hair is getting lighter from playing outside so much.  On a side note, he is getting a little better at getting his hair cut.

He loves to dance.  You ask him to "dance, dance" and he just starts dancing.  It melts my heart.

Favorite movie right now is Despicable Me.  We watch it so many times a day.

He has the cutest smile ever.

He loves to play peek-a-boo.

Still horrible in church, counting down the 3 months until we can drop him off at Nursery.

Size 5 diapers, and wears mostly 18-24 month clothes.

Kade's Newborn

A special thanks to my sister in law Heather for taking Kade's newborn pictures.  They turned out perfect!

July 3, 2013 I checked in at 5:30am for my scheduled C-Section.  I had postponed my C-Section from the week prior to see if my body would actually just go into labor.  It never did.  We get to my room at the hospital they are hooking me up, I am signing tons of paperwork, got my IV in, and then a nurse comes into my room and said, "Do you know you are contracting every two to three minutes" of course I had no clue.  My back was killing me.  The nurse then checks me and said, "You're a 4 plus, what do you want to do?" I panicked and looked at Jason hoping he would decide for me.  He was ready to support me either way I wanted to deliver.  I told the nurse to call my Doctor and make him decide.  She comes back in the room and said that Dr Kvarfordt wants me to try to deliver vaginally.  I was so nervous.  They switched me to a different room and different bed and we then started calling and texting the family our change of plans.  My Dr came a little after 7 and broke my water.  I was getting more and more uncomfortable, and I received my epidural at a 6 plus.  The Doctor who did my epidural was amazing.  It actually worked, and made everything so easy.  I was so tired I would close my eyes and try to sleep and the nurses would keep coming to check my progress and I just kept progressing basically while I laid there and slept.  Once my body got to a 10, my nurse had me take another 30 min nap so I would have energy to push.  We did a few "practice pushes" waiting for my Doctor and Kade was right there.  I pushed for less than 20 minutes and he was out.  It was the most surreal thing to see him born.  I am really grateful I was able to experience it.  It was night and day different from my labor and delivery with Crew.  However this recovery has been hard.  I had so many people telling me how fast I would recover from a VBAC, and it's true you don't have the incision pain, but you still have lots of pain I didn't experience with the C-Section.  In the end though is a healthy beautiful boy, and I am so grateful to be his Mom.
